Thinking about my role as a mother this week. I am now the parent of two 22 year olds. What a journey this continues to be. One of my friends described parenting as a lifetime prison sentence. We will never escape from the role. I get the sentiment - we are forever bound to our children. We are bound but, we should not be binding. We need to love them, teach them, listen to them, trust them and set them free. This is hard work. Probably the hardest work I will do... and there is no immediate measure...
